Ward Knowles Ltd was founded in 1904 and we celebrated our Centenary in May 2004.
A family owned business for the majority of those years the Company has developed
from a General Printers, to a specialist Business Forms Printer.
The Company operates from an 80,000 square foot manufacturing unit in Oswaldtwistle,
Lancashire, where we manufacture, a great variety of Business Forms.
We currently employ 165 people and have an annual turnover in the region of £15
million and the workforce has increased by approximately 10% over the last 3 years.
Ward Knowles was bought by an MBO in January 2000 by 4 senior managers within the company.
Since then the company has undergone significant changes and investment in new technology.
We have no direct sales force and are reliant entirely on the major Print Management
Companies for our growth.Our aim is a relatively simple one in that we see ourselves
as a service provider to the Print Management sector.
We are constantly looking at ways to continuously improve our
products and service to cope with the demands of the market place.
